Graphite v1.1

Description

Graphite v1.1 features 5 meters:

Weather: Enter your Zip Code to get your local weather, with additional stastics such as Wind Speed, % Chance of precipitation, % Humidity, and 'Feels Like'.

CPU: Graphite will automatically detect your CPU and display its Current % Load, Temperature, Fan Speed, and current clock speed.

RAM: Graphite will automatically detect your total RAM, and display the current amount of RAM used. You will have to change the clock speed manually in the RAM guage .ini file, everything else is automated.

GPU: Graphite will automatically detect your GPU and display it's Current % Load, Temperature, Fan Speed, and current clock speed.

Network: Graphite will display your WAN IP address, LAN IP address, and display a line graph and readout of your Upload and Download network traffic. (Look in the .ini file to un-comment a fake WAN IP for use in screenshots)

A customizable clock is available, as well as the cut out foreground to make it appear as if it is behind the mountains. I have included cutouts for 2 resolutions: 1920x1080, and 1600x900 (stretched) which you are prompted to select upon loading the meter.

Also included is a meter that allows you to change the colors of the bar graphs, line graphs, clock, and clock shadow colors.

Setup:

Most of the meter setup is automated. However, you will need to manually enter your HWiNFO hardware values into their respective meters.

You will also need to have HWiNFO running if you want to monitor CPU Temp, GPU Temp, GPU Speed, and Fan Speeds. If you have problems getting these, or HWinfo to work; just post in this thread and I'll help you get it working.

  1. Install and run HWinfo (x32 or x64 depending on your OS architecture)

  2. Run HWiNFO and check 'Sensors Only' (or start normally, and click 'Sensors'). Then select 'Minimize All'

  3. Run HWiNFOSharedMemoryViewer.exe (found in the root of the Graphite skin folder)

  4. Find the ID values for CPU Temp (Found under the file tree under [Processor Name]:DTS > Core#0), GPU Temp, GPU Fan, GPU Core Load (all located under the GPU file tree), and CPU Fan Speed (located under Motherboard Chipset (eg: Nuvoton NCT6776F) > CPU)

  5. Copy the ID numbers on the above hardware readouts, and paste them into the appropriate variables in the .ini files.

I will do my best to automate this to the point of minimal input from the user in the next update.

Known Issues:

I haven't tested this with an AMD GPU, or an AMD CPU. Therefore, the names of these will probably extend past the background. If this is the case, please send me a message as to exactly what it says for your CPU/GPU name (or include a screenshot), and I'll edit it so that it shortens the name.

If you come across any other bugs, please let me know, and I'll fix them as soon as possible.
